The mission of the Brooklyn Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote and develop the Brooklyn area business community and to provide education and support for its member businesses by:
developing proposals for economic development of the business community
assessing and addressing the specific needs of the members
communicating the mission and goals of the organization to the members and to the larger community
working in partnership with the area governments for common goals "We are all in this together", and
serving as goodwill ambassadors and point of contact for the Brooklyn area.

Future benefits will depend on the suggestions and actions of the members of the Chamber of Commerce, and may include:

The full membership has an annual meeting to set budget and programs for coming year, October of each year. Members get updates sent to them quarterly.
